The Recruitment Solutions Division of IBC was established in March 2003 in response to the staffing requirements of IBC’s substantial and diverse client base. Therefore, from the outset, the Division has geared itself towards addressing the specific staffing needs of clients from a holistic perspective (business, culture and job fit).
With 25 years combined recruitment experience, our Consultants provide efficient and effective solutions through rigorous adherence to proven recruitment and selection processes and techniques.
Our placement process consists of:
- • Obtaining a thorough understanding of the client’s business and culture, the vacancy to be filled, and the competency and other requirements of the position
- • Appointing the IBC consultant that best fits the client and the vacancy to be filled
- • Agreeing a project plan and key milestones for the assignment (Understanding and working within the timelines of the client)
- • Sourcing candidates through the appropriate means, including the IBC database, recruitment portals, ‘head hunting’ and advertising
- • Conducting interviews, assessing candidates and compiling CVs
- • Submitting short-listed candidates to the client
- • Organising interviews with short-listed candidates as required
- • Assisting clients with the selection process
- • Conducting psychometric assessments upon request through a partner company
- • Conducting thorough background checks on request of the client, including credit and criminal checks, qualification verification and comprehensive reference checks
- • Negotiating employment conditions with the preferred candidate
- • Following up with the client and candidates at reasonable intervals throughout the process and after successful placement, in order to ensure that both the client and candidate are satisfied
IBC’s objectives for every assignment are to:
- • Cast the ‘recruitment net’ as wide as possible to ensure that a suitable number of qualified candidates are screened for each vacancy
- • Ensure that the client has the required number of qualified, short-listed candidates to choose from (minimum of three candidates per position)
- • Market the client in the appropriate manner to all candidates
- • Market the candidates in the appropriate manner to the client
- • Ensure that all assignment milestones are met and that the right candidate is placed within the agreed time frame
- • Ensure that all candidates, whether successful or not, have a positive experience of both the client and IBC and find the recruitment process worth the effort
